DR. BENJAMIN: Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic procedure today and for a simple reason. It’s a very simple procedure. It’s done, in most of the cases, one visit. And the result is quite drastic. People can remove some of the stains that have built over the years, bring back the nice, white smile they once had and that’s what bleaching does. There are different ways of doing it. Some of the ways are office visits where we can do the more concentrated bleaching procedures to get maximum, faster results. Other ways are home trays where the patients can do it at home and also can maintain the whiteness at home and then there are more advanced procedures where we do several visits of office bleaching in combination with home trays to get the most beautiful result.
